Once in a while we may come across a medically prepared human skull. To the best of our knowledge, the specimens were obtained legally for educational purposes.
The provenance of the skull is uncertain. Most likely this was made in India sometime in the early 1900s for use as a medical specimen. It is hinged so the top of the skull will come off. The left and right sides of the skull are also hinged and can be separated. There is a double trap door in the center of the forehead that opens to show the sinus cavity.
